This is a very nice vintage Shawnee/USA grease pot. It has no chips or cracks. There is a manufacturing boo-boospot on the lid, but most of the old pottery has some manufacturing issue. I tried to get a good photo of it in picture #4. Otherwise, it's in perfect condition. I don't believe this was ever used as a grease jar because most of the vintage grease pots have a film on the interior from the grease. This does not have that. The pot is 4 inches tall and 5 inches across. It is marked USAon the bottom but I couldn't really get it in the picture.
